Our Method

One On One Individual Attention

We ensure the students are given personalized attention while classes are held at least once a week. Our introductory course not only helps them understand music and guitar but also allows us to gauge the students capacity, strengths and weaknesses to curate the classes accordingly.

Western Guitar Styles

Apart from the folk guitar, we also specialize in teaching Western Classical on the Spanish Guitar and assist with study material. Visit our blog to watch duets, solo performances and recitals of popular classical pieces by students.

Flexible Scheduling

Our Classes are available offline and online. Students can change the venue depending on their needs with advance notification. We are flexible with timings and days within our operational hours from 10 am to 7 pm.

Trinity College London Prep

We take pride in preparing our students for the Trinity College exams that are held yearly. We assist with syllabus, study material and booking a slot for the student.

Courses

Introductory Course

This course helps the student understand the structure of the guitar and how to tune the strings of the guitar to standard pitch. The course covers Position, Posture and best practices to maintain the instrument. We also teach the basics of the music language or solfas, names of the strings of the guitar and introduction to scales beginning with the Do Re Me. The student will be able to play The Happy Birthday Song (Lead Solo) in Do re me. The assessments towards the end of the course will help move to the next course called the primer to begin learning music notations.

Minimum 8 classes (Subject to the frequency of practice).

Schubert's Introductory Course Certification on Guitar Basics.

One on one individual attention. Can pay monthly or quarterly.

Primer Course

The Primer course teaches students to read staff notations and play the notes on the six strings in first position. The course involves playing easy folk tunes as duets with the tutor. More scales in Do Re Me will be introduced to improve lead guitar techniques. The course will result in the student playing easy level folk, country and boogie tunes, while keeping time by reading notes and symbols. The assessments towards the end of this course will decide the students qualification into the Trinity Certification course.

Minimum 32 classes (Subject to the frequency of practice).

Schubert's Primer Course Certification.

One on one individual attention. Can pay monthly or quarterly.

Trinity Certification

A Trinity Grade certificate is highly sought after as Trinity College of Music, London is among the top music institutions in the world. The University certifies students based on performance and knowledge in music theory. We prepare students for the Grade 1 to Grade 4 exams. Graded courses will equip students to play as a group and perform their individual pieces by reading notations on the staff. The curriculum will include medium to difficult songs from the Rock 'n' Roll, Blues and Country genre. The students completing Grade 1 course can choose to start Western Classical style on the Spanish Guitar.

Minimum 1 year per grade (Subject to the frequency of practice).

Schubert's Grade Course Certification.

One on one individual attention. Can pay monthly or quarterly.

Learning to play Songs

This course is for students who wish to learn to play songs on the guitar quickly without having to learn staff notations. Chords, basic scales and tablatures will be the main focus of this course, while plucking, strumming and other finger exercises will be taught. The introductory course is a pre-requisite of this course.

Learn songs in 3 to 4 months (Subject to the frequency of practice).
